About Alfred Ng
I was born in Hong Kong and grow up in Toronto, Canada. When I was about three years old, I came upon my teenager neighbor practicing her Chinese ink painting which lighted my interests and I started to paint and draw to amuse myself. My childhood interests stay with me and never left me. Everyday, after school all my spare time were spent making art. In 1973 our family moved to Canada and I attended and graduated from Central Technical School and Ontario College of Art and Design University. For the last 25 years, I working full time as an artist. Oh, Richard, While waiting for the sales and instead of complain about lack of it. I just keep painting. .LOL! I painted this one awhile ago, the dahlia is from a little garden from Chinatown in Toronto. For years, everytime as I pass by I would admire them and take photos but one day when I walk pass it after away for a few months. It was full of weeds and the garden was gone. I had no idea what happened to the woman lived there. I also take photos and many of them were used for my paintings. Cheers, Alfred
