About Alfred Ng
I was born in Hong Kong and grow up in Toronto, Canada. When I was about three years old, I came upon my teenager neighbor practicing her Chinese ink painting which lighted my interests and I started to paint and draw to amuse myself. My childhood interests stay with me and never left me. Everyday, after school all my spare time were spent making art. In 1973 our family moved to Canada and I attended and graduated from Central Technical School and Ontario College of Art and Design University. For the last 25 years, I working full time as an artist. Hi Diane, The reason I don’t offer my paintings for greeting card is most of my paintings are rather large and once reduced to a small size it would lost some of its detail as the originals. If I intended to make a greeting card I would paint it to size. I just have more respect for my works than made a fast buck to sell it as greeting card. Alfred
