Hello Marrie, the abstract paintings does seem a departure from my usual works however when I was in art college that’s was all I painted. Early this year, I was commissioned to paint two large abstract paintings. I found the experience was very enjoyable, so I been painting both the abstract and realist work since. I have a wonderful Christmas dinner with some close friends but today I came down with a nasty cold which take me out of action! Happy New Year to you! Alfred
